Welcome to the Gathering Place Roasters.

Hi, We are Dahni (pronounced Donnie), and Susan and we are your hosts.

What is the Gathering Place?

The Gathering Place is what my wife Susan and I affectionately call our home in Macedon, NY and it is your place, wherever you are! It too is a blog and has a Facebook page. Click the following links for more information.

The Gathering Place Blog

What’s the difference between the two blogs?

The Gathering Place Blog is more general and this one, The Gathering Place Roasters, is more specific. Specifically, this one is all about coffee.

What is the Gathering Place Roasters

Yes, we roast coffee, but mostly for ourselves and sometimes as gifts. But of course, if you stop by, there’ll always be a cuppa or two or a few for you, fresh roasted, fresh ground and fresh brewed! No, we do not sell our coffee, so please do not ask. But what we do, do, is teach people how to roast their own coffee and other things to do with it, besides, drink it.

What is TGP Coffee Roasters Home?

First of all it is a blog or weblog if your want to be technical about it. TGP stands for The Gathering Place. Most of all, this blog is about COFFEE! 🙂 We are starting to set up small classes locally, to teach people how to roast their own coffee. There may be a professionally made video in the future, to be able to reach more people.

Some of the posts here will are common to both blogs, but there is also exclusive content, just for those who have participated in our classes or for future subscribers, to any online classes. There are additional posts and content here, not available to the general public and can only be accessed by password. Yes, some posts are PASSWORD PROTECTED. They will appear in Red bold capital letters. They are ONLY available at our discretion and, for a limited time.

This blog was intentionally designed to read like a book as chapters 1-11 so that they are read in order, not the most current post as most blogs are. We hope you enjoy your time here!
